Voting for #yaymen begins at 10pm tonight (May 4, 2009) and ends on Wednesday, May 6, 2009.

The final battle for womankind’s hearts shall be fought between the Top Five Contenders:

In case you all are wondering why we have put up bios of the category winners and have not included them in the final vote, read below.

The category winners might not be on the final list, but their bios stand testament to the scores of really awesome guys who exist out there. If it were up to us, we would have just gone on inventing categories just to include more guys, but I’m sure most of you would agree with us when we say that it would be a tad tiresome!

The bios are up so that women get a chance to know the men who made them go ga ga during the noimination process and do so on a daily basis on Twitter.

The bios are also up so that men get a chance to know that being a decent man and being nice to women is what it is all about in the end.

Butts, Humor, Abs, Intellect, Smiles, Flirtyness, Success & a good Personality are important, but can only get you so far. Underneath it all, we girls need some lovin’, some respectin’ and a whole lotta fun from the men we like too!

This is not to say that the category winners are exclusive to the categories they rule. They are much, much more than that.

This is why we asked all the men for their bios, so women the world over can admire these wonderful guys and feel much better knowing that they too roam the bylanes of the civilized world.

Forget it. With women, it’s not some quotient that I pursue or aim for. It’s the high that you get in the special moments, in those conversations. Celeb or not, wouldn’t matter!
     
11. If I win, I will: Extra dollop of charm for the YaYwomen; Icing on the top! Main yay, yay chilaaonga, kurta phad ke. Give a thank-you speech. Never won anything in life, and so this is my forever dream. Pretty please.

5. Vital stats: My quips and repartees, as I like to think they are, but they’re mostly just senseless saunters in disguise; knock-offs like the ePhone, that kinda do the job for a few minutes, but eventually end up getting a big WTF.
6. Why I rawk my category: Because I’m coo… umm, waitaminute… What category? I wasn’t put in any category! I’m an all rounder! A jack of all and a master of pun… intended!
7. I am a YayMan because… Everyone keeps calling me YayDa, and to avoid that, I want to win this thing and have my photo with the YayMan logo under it plastered all over the place. I even designed a logo which I will put on a t-shirt:

We might be here a while.. lol Desi, honest eyes, an intelligent sense of humor, street-wise, loyal, not taller than 6 foot, a voice that doesn’t break windows (this includes in my very vivid imagination), a decent appreciation for films, food, coffee & hugs, who would appreciate / support my plans for the world unquestionably, even when the world thinks my choices are ‘mad’.
